Meet Bella, Our Founder
Hi, I’m Bella Larsen! I’m a 23-year-old with a heart for Jesus, a passion for serving others, and a belief that even the smallest act of kindness can make an eternal impact. Light the World was born from a simple calling God placed on my heart: to be His hands and feet and bring hope to families during the Christmas season. What started as a small idea quickly became something so much bigger than I could have imagined.
Through the generosity of our community, Light the World has become an opportunity to bring people together, give back to local families, and most importantly, share the love of Jesus.
My prayer is that this mission goes far beyond Christmas gifts or a single event. I hope it reminds every person involved that they are loved, seen, and called to be a light in this world.
Matthew 5:14 reminds us, “You are the light of the world.” And I believe that when we come together and let His light shine through us, incredible things can happen.

When it came to finding a community partner to help us identify local families in need, Fox Valley United Way was an easy choice. What makes their organization so special is that they don’t just focus on giving, they focus on understanding the people they serve. Through community outreach, surveys, and meaningful conversations, they continually work to identify the real needs of families right here in our community. Their dedication allows us to go beyond simply providing gifts and instead make a meaningful impact where it matters most. Together, we aren't just giving blindly. We're giving intentionally, with purpose, compassion, and love.
